Philippines: Feb 22 – March 19

Are you dreaming of vibrant coral reefs, diverse marine life, and crystal-clear waters? Explore world-renowned dive sites like Apo Reef, Tubbataha Reefs Natural Park, and Coron, teeming with incredible creatures. Encounter majestic manta rays, playful dolphins, colourful nudibranchs, and an abundance of reef fish.

Mallorca, Santa Ponsa: July 20-27

We’re thrilled to be back in the crystal-clear waters of Santa Ponsa, reuniting with our diving buddies at Zoea Diving Centre! Get ready for another opportunity to explore incredible underwater landscapes and creating unforgettable memories beneath the waves.

This trip is the perfect chance for our new members to earn their certification surrounded by supportive peers and breath-taking underwater worlds.

Azores, Santa Maria: September 7-14

Red Sea, Liveaboard Northern wrecks trip: September 21-28

Are you ready to explore the legendary Red Sea Northern Wrecks onboard a liveaboard? Join BSAC on an unforgettable journey through time and the depths, where iconic shipwrecks teem with marine life and history awaits around every corner.

Outlook for September 2025: Scottland, Scapa Flow

Calling all history buffs and adventurous divers! Dive the iconic wrecks of the German High Seas Fleet, scuttled in 1919, their stories etched in every rusty hull and porthole.
Due to the conditions, this trip demands experienced divers. As a minimum: Sports Divers, with at least 75 dives and with at least 10 of those deeper than 30m by the time of the trip.

  • May 25/26 – One day trip on either day for Sports Diver+ training and qualified divers.
  • June 8/9 – One day trip to Monte Mare on either day for Ocean Diver training.
  • June 15/16 – One day trip on either day for Sports Diver+ training and qualified divers.
  • June 22/23 – One day trip to Dive4Life on either day for Ocean Diver training.
  • July 13/14 – One day trip to Rastatt for qualified divers and possibly training
  • August 10/11 – One day trip on either day for Sports Diver+ training and qualified divers.
  • August 24/25 – One day trip on either day for Sports Diver+ training and qualified divers.

Training 2024

Ocean Diver:

The course takes place from January to July 2024. June is reserved for training in the deep pools at Monte Mare in Rheinbach and Dive4Life in Siegburg. The certification and sea dives will be achieved in July, in the summer diving trip to Mallorca.

Sports Diver:

Theory and exams are ongoing. Pool lessons will be run soon. Open water training will be provided in the diving weekends from May to August (see schedule above).

Dive Leader and Advanced Diver:

These two courses will run in parallel to Ocean and Sports Diver courses. The schedule for the theory will be announced soon. An Oxygen Administration course is foreseen to take place in June. DL and AD candidates are encouraged and required to organise weekend and diving holiday trips, including the trips announced above.

Instructor training:

AED skill development course will be organised, likely in June, which allows an instructor to assist and get qualified as AED Instructor.

BSAC is organising combined instructor courses

  • IFC, OWIC, TIE, PIE: Cyprus, March 18-22
  • IFC, OWIC, TIE, PIE: UK, Stoney Cove, May 11-15
  • IFC, OWIC, TIE, PIE: UK, Stoney Cove, September 21-25
  • AI: Cyprus, March 18-22
  • AI: Dunoon, Argyll, July 10-14

The club is in contact with the Regional Coach to assess the possibility of running some of these courses in the region. Information will be provided when such courses are confirmed.

Outlook for 2025:

The club plans to run future Ocean Diver courses, starting in October, and Sports Diver courses in summer/autumn, to optimise the time and club resources. An open evening will be held in September to advertise the club.
