We’re planning a diving trip to the Egyptian Red Sea, in the El Quseir area, roughly between Hurghada and Marsa Alam.
The idea is to keep it easy and relaxed. The trip is open to all divers and also works well for beginners and snorkelers.
When: 6–13 October 2026
(dates may shift by a couple of days depending on flights and hotel availability)
Where: El Quseir, Red Sea, Egypt
Hotel: Rohanou Beach Resort & Ecolodge — a small, quiet place that’s well suited for divers.
To help with the organisation, we’ll be working with a German travel agency that specialises in dive trips. They’ll take care of the flights from Frankfurt to Hurghada, the hotel, transfers, and the diving package. We’ll need at least 10 people for the trip to go ahead under these conditions.
Diving will be with Ducks Diving Quseir, the SSI dive centre located directly at the hotel. The house reef there is excellent and easy to access from the jetty, with lots to explore. Shore diving is basically unlimited during the day, and there will also be the option for short zodiac dives or boat trips, including half-day or full-day outings for more experienced divers. Nitrox is free, and equipment can be rented on site if needed.
