A visit to Monte Mare near Bonn is planned for Sunday 6th April. The centre has a 10m deep pool suitable for dive training exercises.
The 1st aim of this visit is to provide Ocean Diver trainees with an opportunity for their required deeper water exercises, and we have already invited them with the required instructors to support them.
We have the option to increase the size of the group to the 10 – 16 range ( a larger group may be possible, I would simply follow up with Monte Mare if required) and benefit from a 25% entrance fee reduction for the group (further information will be communicated after a firm booking has been made).

Information on Monte mare
The deep pool is nicely set up, providing an ideal intermediate environment for divers refreshing their skills, with perfect visibility and warm water. The 10m depth provides considerable scope for required diving exercises.
There is an upside-down boat hull, along with tunnels for exercises and even a grotto section.
Some information on Monte Mare :
- Opening hours: 10h -20h, (we’ll be there from 10h to 15-16h)
- Cylinders and weights are included in the price – other equipment you need to bring or hire from the centre (to be planned in advance)
- Day ticket: 61.50€ (further price reduction if group 10 and above)
- Water temperature 28°C, considered a little colder than Weiterstadt pool, so shorty or 2/3mm suit recommended
