We are starting a new Ocean Diver course. The BSAC Ocean Diver is the entry level diving grade from BSAC, roughly equivalent to the better known Open Water diver certifications from other agencies. As BSAC Open Water diver you are able and allowed to dive safely with a buddy down to 20m under supervision of a dive manager, but don’t need to have a guide with you in the water. Different to other training schemes, you will also learn essential rescue skills to help you out in case of issues. Plus, you will meet many lovely people from our club and have a fun time overall!

Monday, 27 November 2023 at 18:00 at ESOC (Robert-Bosch-Str. 5 in Darmstadt).
For all internals, we’re either in S013 or in S021A. For all externals, we meet at the ESOC main gate at 17:50 sharp. I will pick you up there and get you to the room.
All you need to bring is yourself and a happy mood. People without ESA badge need to bring a form of photo ID (e.g. national ID or passport).
